MICYRN continued its work supporting conferences and smaller organizations that provide trainees and early career researchers (ECRs) with grant opportunities and venues to present their work. 

The Pediatric Resident Research Group hosted the 2021 national competition in an exciting online format. MICYRN provided web services and administrative, judging and abstract submission support.

MICYRN continued to provide the Molly Towell Perinatal Research Foundation board with administrative, communication, and operational support. This year, the Coordinating Centre created an easier and streamlined abstract submission and judging system for the grant competition. 

The Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting (CNPRM) is an annual opportunity for trainees to present their work and interact with leaders from industry and academic institutes. MICYRN actualized its role as the coordinating hub for this annual meeting by supporting the organizing committee and overseeing the financial management and corporate memory of the meeting from year to year.
