Enhancing Clinical Trial Capabilities
One of the barriers impeding efficient, streamlined pediatric multicentre clinical trials in Canada is the lack of a coordinated national infrastructure to attract and facilitate the conduct of these trials. MICYRN is now increasing capacity to function as an academic research organization for funded, maternal-child investigator-initiated, multicentre clinical trials in the non-oncology space. Pre- and post-service offerings will not only fill a current need but will also assist institutions looking to build their own local capacity for clinical trial support.
Pre- and Post-Award Services
MICYRN is providing the pre-award services of an academic research organization for maternal and child investigator-initiated multicentre clinical trials, improving chances for grant application success.
Upon successfully awarded or funded projects, MICYRN will support post-award services. These will be delivered on a cost-recovery basis through the grant or funding source. Services will be facilitated through MICYRN either directly or through contract service agreements with partners.
