ARO Pre-Award Services
Enhancing Study Potential
MICYRN offers Academic Research Organization (ARO) pre-award services at no cost to investigators within its member network, as well as to potential industry and biotech partners. These services are designed to promote cross-institutional and multi-provincial collaboration through multicentre trials, while supporting members in building local capacity.
Consultation Services
MICYRN provides strategic consultation during grant development and study planning to support the successful design and implementation of clinical research projects. Services include guidance on regulatory strategy, monitoring and quality assurance, ethics, contracts, project management, and operational planning.
We also develop tailored budget estimates for post-award ARO services and can help bridge resourcing gaps within local study teams immediately following funding decisions to support rapid study activation.
Study Design and Protocol Optimization
MICYRN connects investigators with national experts from a network of more than 180 pediatric researchers to strengthen study design, protocol optimization, and methodological development.
We also provide feasibility assessments and site identification services for academic, industry, and biotech-sponsored studies to support efficient trial planning and execution.
Letters of Support
MICYRN provides letters of support for investigators affiliated with member organizations to strengthen Canadian and international grant applications, clinical trial collaborations, and funding opportunities. These letters help demonstrate operational readiness, network support, and Canada’s capacity to participate in global pediatric clinical research initiatives.
