MICYRN is strengthening national and international partnerships to further the Network’s mission of improved maternal and child health research.
Rare Diseases: Models and Mechanisms Network (RDMM)
MICYRN provides the logistical support to RDMM, which is funded by the CIHR Institute of Genetics and Genome Canada. The network was established to expedite collaborations between clinicians identifying rare disease gene mutations in patients, and researchers who can use model organisms (fruit fly, worm, yeast, zebrafish, mice) to study these genes.
European Network of Paediatric Research at the European Medicines Agency (Enpr-EMA)
MICYRN contributes to the development of a multi-national infrastructure to support global pediatric trials with Enpr-EMA.
Pediatric Trials Network (PTN)
MICYRN serves as a national portal to facilitate the coordinated opening of sites in Canada for the US NIH-sponsored PTN.
