MICYRN was founded in 2006 as a collaborative national initiative to build capacity for high quality clinical research in Canada. MICYRN links 17 participating academic health centres and hundreds of investigation teams across the country. Our searchable registries show a rich diversity of research activity with over 200 clinical research networks, over 50 birth cohort studies, and over 450 paediatric clinical trials actively recruiting.

Our vision is for a cohesive national network that facilitates maternal-child clinical research in Canada and beyond. Our mission is to develop an alliance of clinical research centres with professional staff using high quality, harmonized standards to support multicentre studies and research networks. The overarching goal of MICYRN is to empower the health research community to develop and implement solutions to issues affecting maternal infant child & youth health and health services We invite you to make use of the information and links provided on this site.

Please join forces with MICYRN to help achieve common goals, to share your news and events, and to take advantage of funding opportunities.
