Clinical Trial Applications
At a subsidized fee, MICYRN will be offering regulatory submission service to Health Canada for investigator-initiated clinical trials in either the form of a Clinical Trial Application for drug trials or an Investigational Testing Authorization for medical device trials. MICYRN offers members use of the centrally supported and validated MICYRN REDCap instance for studies, with access to the latest version with the newest features. It also provides use of a secure document sharing and collaboration service via the Canadian Network for Public Health Intelligence.
Young Persons’ Advisory Group (YPAG)
MICYRN facilitates a YPAG for research to provide advice to investigators on aspects associated with research studies, such as the design of patient information leaflets; opinions about study websites; format of research ethics consent forms; establishment of participant registries; and, input into study protocols and definition of outcome measures.
Workshop and Conference Support
MICYRN has the experience and staff to support meetings, workshops and conferences in line with the Network’s objectives.
Engagement and Communications
Research teams with limited funds to support the business needs of their labs and studies can access communication support and resources through MICYRN.
