Medicines for Children Research Network (MCRN) (disponible en anglais) |

The Dutch Medicines for Children Research Network (MCRN) was set up in 2008 as a national network to enhance the coordination, speed and quality of clinical studies of medicines for children and adolescents. It comprises all academic and many large non-academic hospital facilities that care for children in the Netherlands. MCRN is member of the European Medicines Agency’s (EMEA) European paediatric network of existing national and European networks. |

Training Upcoming Leaders in Paediatric Sciences (TULIPS) (disponible en anglais) |
|
The aim of TULIPS is to improve the quality of paediatric research, leading to better health for children. To achieve this aim, TULIPS has developed a curriculum that aims to support young, talented and ambitious paediatric researchers in their scientific careers. This curriculum consists of workshops that are organized every 3 months at one of the Dutch academic hospitals, a national Young Investigator Day and a yearly Weekend Workshop on Grant writing that was organized for the first time in 2009. From its foundation in 2006 TULIPS has worked closely together with its Canadian partner organization: Canadian Child Health Clinician Scientist Program (CCHCSP). There is a regular exchange of young investigators of both programs. Since 2009 TULIPS forms part of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Kindergeneeskunde (NVK). |
