Coordinating Centre
MICYRN’s Coordinating Centre, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, provides oversight of working groups, management of targeted projects such as needs assessments and environmental scans, and organization of workshops and meetings.
The role is being developed for MICYRN Correspondents who will based at participating MICYRN sites as part of the team that supports clinical research. Correspondents will provide a physical presence of MICYRN at the site, and enable research networks and multi-centre studies. The Correspondent will assist in environmental scans and needs assessments by providing input to MICYRN about site-specific systems and processes. Correspondents will act as a local relay of MICYRN activities for the development of services, harmonization of procedures, and promotion of best practices. In a “hub and spoke” model, the site Correspondents will connect through MICYRN’s Coordinating Centre.
