Refer to the Resources section for Clinical Trials information.

An analysis in March 2010 showed 5385 registered clinical trials were being conducted worldwide in children, and 459 were actively recruiting at sites in Canada.  Canada was second only to the USA in the total number of pediatric trials being conducted; and third in the world after Australia and the Netherlands in the number of trials per population of children. See the review of the pediatric clinical trials activity in Canada.
